Every year Disneyland helps guests ring in the New Year with special events, fireworks, and more at both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure parks. We have begun to aggregate all of this special celebration information in one place to help those planning their NYE celebrations at the Disneyland Resort.

Here is the current information for New Year’s Eve at the Disneyland Resort:


Disneyland

Park Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 a.m.

  • New Year’s Eve Central Countdown – Disneyland Central Plaza, 9:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. Countdown Location.
  • “it’s a small world” Promenade Dance Party, DJ music – 7:00 p.m. – 1:30 a.m. Countdown Location.
  • Tomorrowland Terrace Dance Party, featuring Suburban Legends and DJ’s – 9:10 p.m., 10:10 p.m., 11:30 p.m., 12:35 a.m. Countdown Location.
  • New Year in New Orleans Square, live music – 7:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.
  • “Fantasy in the Sky” Fireworks – 9:00 p.m and 11:59 p.m.
  • A Fantasmic! New Year – 8:30 p.m., 10:30 p.m., 11:59p.m. (be sure to obtain a FASTPASS or early dining reservation)
  • Swingin’ New Year featuring Stompy Jones – Fantasy Faire Theater, 7:30 p.m., 8:20 p.m., 10:30 p.m. and 12:05 a.m.

Disney California Adventure

Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 a.m.

  • Countdown to 2015 – 12:00 midnight, with fireworks over Paradise Pier followed by World of Color Winter Dreams. Countdown Location.
  • World of Color Winter Dreams – 8:30 p.m., 10:15 p.m., 11:59 p.m.
  • Live Music and Dancing:
    • Wine Country Celebration, featuring Oak and Gorski – 8:30 p.m., 9:15 p.m., 10:30 p.m. & 11:30 p.m.
    • A Route 66 New Year’s Eve, featuring Kelly Rae Band in Cars Land – 8:30 p.m., 9:15 p.m., 10:15 p.m. & 11:15 p.m.
    • New Year’s Eve in Carthay Circle, featuring Tim Gill All-Stars  – 8:30 p.m., 9:15 p.m., 10:15 p.m. & 11:15 p.m.
    • Drop in on 2015 Party, featuring Ellis Island Boys near the Tower of Terror – 8:30 p.m., 9:15 p.m., 10:30 p.m. & 11:30 p.m.
    • Celebrate 2015 in Paradise, featuring Adelaide – 8:00 p.m., 9:00 p.m., 9:45 p.m., 10:45 p.m.
  • Freeze in the New Year – 6 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. Featuring “Olaf’s Snow Fest“, “For the First Time In Forever – Frozen Sing-a-Long“, and “Anna and Elsa’s Royal Welcome” and a live DJ. Read More about “Frozen Fun”. Countdown Location.

In the parks, guests will also have access to complimentary hats and horns at distribution locations in both Disneyland, at Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree, and Disney California Adventure near the Tower of Terror and Silly Symphony Swings, beginning at 6:00 p.m. (while supplies last). A limited edition New Years Eve Oswald the Lucky Rabbit pin will also be available for purchase.

DISNEYLAND

  • Carnation Café, Main Street U.S.A. – Sirloin with skewered shrimp, mashed potatoes, fresh broccoli, sun-dried tomato butter and rich herb beurre blanc.
  • Bengal BBQ, Adventureland – Jambalaya Skewer.
  • French Market, New Orleans Square – Roasted pork chop, served with Calvados apple sauce, braised greens and sweet potato soufflé.
  • Blue Bayou, New Orleans Square – Pan seared New York strip loin a la Oscar, served with dungeness crab meat, béarnaise and chive café au lait sauce.
  • Café Orleans, New Orleans Square – Flat iron steak, served with garlic mashed potatoes, butternut squash and green beans, and a slice of pecan praline yule log.
  • Stagedoor Café, Frontierland – Chocolate funnel cake with peppermint.

Special Mickey Clock sourdough bread and sparkling apple cider are available throughout the parks.

DISNEY CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE

  • Ariel’s Grotto, Paradise Pier Herb roasted rack of lamb served with potato rosti, seasonal vegetables and zinfandel jus
  • Wine Country Trattoria, Pacific Wharf – New York steak served with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
  • Alfresco Tasting Terrace & Mendocino Terrace, Golden Vine Winery – Sparking Wine: Rich and warm mulled wine with berry tones, hints of orange and aromatic seasoning spices.

Special Mickey Clock sourdough bread and sparkling apple cider are available throughout the parks.

HOTELS OF THE DISNEYLAND RESORT

  • Napa Rose –  (inside the Grand Californian Hotel) will offer two meal options on New Year’s Eve. For early dining, guests may be seated from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. to enjoy a four-course country feast. At the late night gala dinner, beginning at 8:15 P.M., guests may enjoy live music, champagne and a Napa-style five-course tasting menu.
  • Storyteller’s Café at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, guests may select a special rib-eye steak with garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
  • Steakhouse 55 at the Disneyland Hotel, guests may enjoy a cabernet poached tenderloin of beef with black truffle potato puree and citrus butter gratinée, along with other special offerings.
  • PCH Grill, at the Paradise Pier Hotel, offers a variety of items, including panko-herb crusted vegetarian lasagna, herb marinated roast and traditional winter holiday desserts.

DOWNTOWN DISNEY
