D23 Members will have access to some great events across the country in 2014, including in New York City, San Francisco, Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles and Walt Disney World.

Destination D: Attraction Rewind (November 22 – 23, 2014 at Walt Disney World), will give guests the opportunity to visit, or revisit, some of the most beloved Disney attractions of yesteryear. The event will bring Disney archivists, Imagineers, Legends and luminaries together to celebrate such attractions as Adventure Thru Inner Space, If You Had Wings, and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea with rarely seen concept art and images; vintage video clips; and revealing stories. Destination D: Attraction Rewind will also feature several presentations dedicated to the 1964-65 New York World’s Fair, which inspired beloved attractions such as “it’s a small world” and Carousel of Progress.

Update (Feb 28): Destination D has been moved from July to November in order to prevent the date conflict with the San Diego Comic Con. Disney Legends Bob Gurr and Marty Sklar have also been added to the event.

Mary Poppins 50th Anniversary Screening will present guests with a special screening event on the classic film’s 50th anniversary, August 24, 2014. No further details at this time.

D23’s Disney Fanniversary Celebration will take to the road in the Fall of 2014 visiting cities across the United States to commemorate dozens of magical Disney milestones celebrating anniversaries in 2014. Hosted by Disney archivists and the D23 Team, Fanniversary events will be held in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Orlando, New York City, Seattle and more throughout 2014. D23’s Disney Fanniversary will revisit some of the most beloved theme park attractions, animated and live-action films, characters, TV series, and more than 90 years of Disney history including Donald Duck, the 1964-65 New York World’s Fair, Sleeping Beauty, Haunted Mansion, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, The Little Mermaid, and many more. Fanniversary events will be open to the public, with special admission prices and surprises created for D23 Members in attendance. Dates will be announced in mid-2014.

A limited number of D23 Members will have the opportunity to have Lunch with a Legend (January 31, 2014)Disney Legend Marty Sklar will join D23 Members for a private luncheon on the Walt Disney Studios lot where Marty will talk about his 54-year career with Disney. Each guest will receive a copy of Marty’s new book Dream It! Do It!: My Half-Century Creating Disney’s Magic Kingdoms signed by Marty! Cost: $125 per person.

Disney Store Member Mixers will give members a peek at redesigned stores in Florida, Kansas, New Jersey, California and Nevada. Members will have exclusive mornings of shopping, discounts, games and “goodies”.

Mickey’s of Glendale, the exclusive Walt Disney Imagineering employee store in Glendale, will open its doors to D23 Members on April 26, June 21, as well as more dates throughout the year. Members will have an opportunity to purchase limited-edition merchandise and view the park-like grounds at Walt Disney Parks & Resorts’ creative “think tank.” This event is available exclusively to Gold and Silver Members.

Throughout the year, D23 will host Screenings on the Disney Studio Lot. In 2014, members will have to opportunity to screen Sleeping Beauty, The Jungle Book, The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad, and The Little Mermaid. Tickets are $12 per person for general admission, $23 for VIP (includes popcorn, seating, and bottle water). This event is available exclusively to Gold and Silver Members.

D23 Day at the Walt Disney Studios and Archives will provide members will tours of the historic Studio Lot and Walt Disney Archives in Burbank return, highlighting historic moments from Disney film, television, and theme parks—as well as showcasing many of the external locations used for filming Saving Mr. Banks. Tours will take place March 22, May 31, August 2, and November 8. This event is available exclusively to Gold and Silver Members at a cost of $60 per person.

Disney and Dickens will also return in December 2014.
