For the first time at California Adventure, Buena Vista Street will feature period specific Holiday Season decorations. Buena Vista Street opened in June of 2012 as part of the extensive park makeover and is a recreation of 1920’s and 30’s Los Angeles, the time which Walt Disney arrived to begin his career as an animator. Along with bows, wreaths and bell ringers, the center point of the Buena Vista Street holiday overlay is a beautiful 50-foot Christmas tree. The tree glimmers with tinsel and vintage ornaments. The base of the tree is surrounded by tin toys and a train spewing smoke.
The Buena Vista Street Christmas tree was recently installed ahead of the November 12 launch of the Holiday Season at the Disneyland Resort and below are a few photos showcasing the tree.
