Housed in Disney California Adventure’s new icon, the Carthay Circle Restaurant will be a the premiere dining location for relaunched theme park.
The interior of the Carthay Circle Restaurant is adorned with ornate, custom woodwork, textures and tiles which create a warm and rich environment.  Guests will be greeted in the first floor foyer, in which the decor will include photos and artifacts from the 1937 premier of Disney’s first feature-length animated film, “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”.  The artifacts, which will celebrate Walt Disney Studios throughout the decades and not just the 1930’s, will be on loan from the Disney Archives and will be periodically rotated out for fresh decor.  A 68-seat lounge will also be located downstairs.  Guests dining in the lounge can share a plate or enjoy a glass of wine or craft beer.  Such items as hot shrimp with chilled spicy tomato shooters or duck confit sliders with apricot conserve, watercress, crisp onions and Taleggio cheese will be on the Lounge’s menu.

Guests will be escorted up a staircase, or elevator, for seating in the main dining area.  The 200 seat dining room is partitioned into smaller sections, to provide a more intimate feel.  Warm, custom woodwork, rich tones and artwork will be illuminated by a center atrium skylight.  A atmosphere of celebration will transport guests back to the premiere of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”, as photos of Walt and Lillian Disney in formal attire are displayed.  A 56 seat outdoor terrace will also be available to diners.
