Opening inside the Carthay Circle Theatre this June 15, 2012 will be a new premier dining location for the Disneyland Resort.  The Carthay Circle Restaurant will take guests back to the opening night of Walt Disney’s first full length feature animated film, “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”.  The Carthay Circle Restaurant will, “immerse guests in the post-screening atmosphere…of that night” Disney stated in a blog post.

The menu for the Carthay Circle Restaurant has not yet been released, however Chef Andrew Sutton of the five star Napa Rose Restaurant in Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel, is overseeing menu development for the new restaurant.  Disney is also giving Club 33 members an exclusive opportunity to dine at the Carthay Circle Restaurant prior to its June 15, 2012 public debut.  According Twitter user @imaginat1on, Members of the exclusive club, and their guests, can dine at the Carthay Circle Restaurant on the evening of June 9, 2012. Club 33 members will have the opportunity to preview Cars Land, Buena Vista Street and enjoy a private viewing of World of Color.  In celebration of the event, Disney will be donating $500,000 to the Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) and the Anaheim Community Foundation.

Disney also recently opened membership to Club 33, which includes access to the new exclusive ‘1901’ lounge inside the Carthay Circle Theatre.

As of the writing of this article, reservations were not yet being taken for the Carthay Circle Restaurant.  However, you can call the Disney Dining Line at (714) 781-DINE to inquire as to availability.

Award-winning Executive Chef Andrew Sutton of Napa Rose brings his second concept to the Disneyland Resort, this time focusing on seasonal products and the diverse flavors found in Southern California. His protégé, Gloria Tae, also from Napa Rose, will be at the helm of the kitchen, while Chef Andrew will split his time as executive chef between Napa Rose and Carthay Circle Restaurant. “The culinary team is a group of true artists with passion and confidence for creating delicious food,” says Sutton.
