This coming summer will be one of the biggest the Disneyland Resort has seen in years. The biggest events will take place at Disney California Adventure park with the opening of Cars Land and Buena Vista Street. The opening of the two new areas will mark the completion of the 1 billion dollar plus makeover that started back in 2007.
Disneyland has been holding Annual Passholder events lately, most recently one surrounding Mickey’s Soundsational Parade and the kick off of the 2011 holiday season, and this March Disney will hold a three day Annual Passholder sneak peek to showcase some of the new features of the Disneyland Resort.
From March 27 – 29, 2012, Disney will hold a special “sneak peek” exclusively for Annual Passholders to preview some of the merchandise, food, entertainment, new costumes and even guided tours of the resort which will be unveiled this summer. The event will be held inside the Stage 17 building at Disney California Adventure park and will showcase Cars Land merchandise, including the attraction posters seen above, which will also be available for purchase.
The event will be open to all Annual Passholders from 10-8pm on March 27, 28 and 29, 2012. The event does take place inside California Adventure, so blackout dates will apply. Each guest entring the event must show their own Annual Pass. There is no need to sign up, just show up and show your Annual Pass ID to be admitted to the event.
The event will not visit the actual Cars Land or Buena Vista Street areas, as they are still under construction. As we get closer to June, Disney may announce an event for the physical areas.
Here’s the fine print:
