Back in August we learned that the north- west side of Main Street was slated to receive a major makeover and the Plaza Pavillion, a former restaurant and annual pass processing center, would be transformed into the Jolly Holiday Bakery Café, The new Mary Poppins themed Café will replace the Blue Ribbon Bakery. The space left vacant by the Blue Ribbon Bakery would then be used, once again, as indoor seating for the Carnation Café. Read the original announcement
Disney released new menu details for the Jolly Holiday Bakery Café:

In addition to the bakery and espresso offerings, the new menu has some delicious new tastes, such as an Angus roast beef salad with blue cheese; a Caprese sandwich with tomatoes, Buffalo mozzarella, basil, butter lettuce and garlic aioli on toasted focaccia bread; and a classic pastrami reuben on rye.

Not only will the popular Carnation Café obtain more seating, but apparently a new menu as well, said to include “longtime favorites” and milk shakes.

Moving north, the Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor will be “getting a little makeover” and in addition, root beer, Coca-Cola and orange cream floats added to their menu.

Plaza Pavilion to become Jolly Holiday Bakery, Disneyland

Walls went up around the Plaza Pavilion in August as it began it’s internal transformation into the Jolly Holiday Bakery Café. The rest of the work is set to start after the busy holiday season in January and should be competed next summer.
