Well we made it to the final day of the D23 Expo, 2011! Saturday was a very busy day, with sold out crowds and many fans not able to attend all the presentations that they wanted to. As far as Disneyland specific news goes, we did get a lot of inside info and views of concept art for Buena Vista Street, and the biggest Disneyland Resort news story was the unveiling of the Storytellers, Walt and Mickey statue for Disney California Adventure Park. This statue appeared very different in early concept art and disappeared from conversation some time ago. Most people, myself included, assumed that it was shelved…no so! Head over to California Adventure’s Walt and Mickey Statue Unveiled to see it for yourself!
Here is our don’t-miss-list for Saturday, August 20th!
