In 1940, Walter Knott was looking for a way to entertain and educate hungry guests waiting for hours to dine at the iconic Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant. The solution was the creation of Ghost Town, now the cornerstone of the Knott’s Berry Farm amusement park.
Owned and operated by the Knott family until 1997, when it was acquired by Cedar Fair. It is home to Charles Schultz’s beloved Peanuts characters, and features themed areas with rides and attractions for visitors of all ages.
Knott’s Berry Farm offers guests a variety of ticketing options from single day tickets to season passes without blackout dates.
Knott’s Berry Farm is host to a variety of seasonal celebrations including the Boysenberry Festival, Knott’s Merry Farm, and the incredibly popular Knott’s Scary Farm.
Knott’s Berry farm’s famous halloween private event series, The Haunt, takes place every fall (private events are not included in daily admission).
Additionally, summer guests can enjoy Cedar Fair’s Soak City waterpark just across the street from Knott’s Berry Farm.
Knott’s Berry Farm ticket pricing can vary greatly depending on discounts, promotions and special events. For example, Knott’s Berry Farm runs a year-long Military and Senior discount. Pricing also changes during special events such as the Knott’s Scary Farm Halloween event. At the end of each year Knott’s Berry Farm also provides free admission and significant discounted tickets for Fire, Police and EMS personnel.
Soak City, a water park located across the street from Knott’s Berry Farm opens seasonally each year. Ticket pricing for 2016 have not yet been announced.
At Knott’s Berry Farm child, or Junior tickets are for ages 3 – 11, Adult tickets are for ages 12 – 61, and Seniors are age 62 +.

Knott’s Berry Farm Season Passes are good for the calendar year. Each Season Pass begins in January and expires after December 31st each year. The Season Passes at Knott’s Berry Farm are also reduced in price a few times each year as the December 31st expiration date approaches. The prices below are as of February 2016.
Each Season Pass payment plan lasts for six months from the start of your purchase. For example, if you purchase a Knott’s Berry Farm Season Pass in January, you will make payments through June and your pass will expire in December.
Each Knott’s Berry Farm Season Pass can have parking added for $60, Platinum comes with parking.
